This privacy policy applies to http://collaborne.com and native mobile applications for iOS and Android owned and operated by Collaborne, BV. This privacy policy describes how by Collaborne, BV (collectively, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) collects and uses the personal information you provide on our service platform. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information. The use of information collected through our Service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the Service for which the You have engaged Us.

What Information Do We Collect?

Customer Data

Your Data means all electronic data or information submitted by You to the Purchased Services.

We make no claim of ownership to your Customer Data. Except as provided in this privacy policy or described in your Agreements, we only use Your Data to provide and enhance the Service. We don’t share Your Data with advertisers, or with anybody else except in the very limited circumstances described in the Sharing Your Data section below.

Contact Data

Contact Data includes name, address, phone number, profile information, email address, title, time zone and other contact information that we may collect through your administration of the Service and use of the service by you and others. Contact Data you provide, as part of your Collaborne profile is available to other users of your Service instance subject to the confidentiality and privacy settings of your administrator.

In addition, We use Contact Data to complete the transactions you request, administer your account, improve the Services and detect and prevent fraud.

We may also use Contact Data to contact you to provide information about new subscriptions, billing and important updates about the Services, including information about security or other technical issues. We may also contact you regarding third-party inquiries as described in this privacy policy or your agreement(s). If you are an administrator for the Service, you may not be able to unsubscribe from some of these communications.

Usage Data

We may use statistical data, analytics, trends and usage information derived from Your use of the Service (“usage data”). Usage data includes, for example, aggregated quantitative information about active users, activity, and publications. Some ways we use the usage data include operating, improving and personalizing the Services. Except to provide reports to you or others in your organization, we do not disclose usage data in a way which is identifiable to your organization or users in Your instance.

Support Data

Support Data is the information we collect when you submit a support request, crash report, or in-app feedback, including information about hardware, software, and other details related to the support incident, such as: contact or authentication information, information about the condition of the device and the application when the fault occurred and device screenshots.

Support may be provided through phone, email, online chat or within the Service. We may access Your Data to troubleshoot the incident. Phone conversations and online chat sessions may be recorded and/or monitored. We use Support Data in the same way as we use your information, as described in this privacy policy. Additionally, we use it to resolve your support incident and for training purposes.

Following a support incident, we may send you a survey about your experience. You must opt-out of support surveys separately from other communications provided by Us, by contacting Support or through the email footer.

Some customers may purchase enhanced support offerings. These offerings are covered by their own contract terms and notices.

Mobile Data

When you download and use our Services, we automatically collect information on the type of device you use, operating system version.

Cookies & Other Information

We use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the Service, track users’ movements around the Service, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level, but if you choose to disable cookies, it may limit your use of certain features or functions on the Service.

Log Files: As is true of most applications, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data. We do not link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about You.

Mobile Analytics: We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our Mobile Software on your phone. This software may record information such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, performance data, and where the application was downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any personally identifiable information you submit within the mobile application.

How Do We Use the Information We Collect?

We use the information collected through the Service for the purposes described below:

  • to provide our Services or information you request, and to process and complete any transactions;
  • to respond to Your emails, submissions, questions, comments, requests, and complaints and provide customer Service;
  • to monitor and analyze usage and trends, and to personalize and improve the Service and your experiences when you use the Service, such as providing content or features to increase the functionality and usability of our Services;
  • to send You confirmations, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages and otherwise facilitate Your use of, and our administration and operation of, our Services;

We will not share You Data or Contact Data (“your information”) outside of Collaborne or its controlled subsidiaries and affiliates except as described below:

  • with service providers who are working with us in connection with the operation of our Services (these services may include, providing customer service and providing cloud infrastructure). These service providers have access to your personal information only to perform services on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose it or use it for any other purposes;
  • when We are lawfully authorized or required to do so or that doing so is reasonably necessary or appropriate to comply with the law or legal processes or respond to lawful requests or legal authorities, including responding to lawful subpoenas, warrants or court orders;
  • In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
  • in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition, or in any other situation where personal information may be disclosed or transferred as one of our business assets.

What Steps Do We Take to Protect Your Information Online?

We follow generally accepted standards and take reasonable measures to protect your personal information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. When You enter sensitive information (such as a login credentials) on our login forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Please be aware, however, that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Information Related to Data Collected Through The Collaborne Service

Information Related to Data Collected for our Clients:

  • Collaborne, BV collects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal information it processes. If you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Clients that use our Service, please contact the Client that you interact with directly.  We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the service agreements with our Clients.

Access and Retention of Data Controlled by our Clients:

  • Collaborne, BV has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. We acknowledge that you have the right to access your personal information.
  • An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the Collaborne, BV’s Client (the data controller). If requested to remove data we will respond within 30 days.
  • We will retain personal information we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide Services to our Client. Collaborne, BV will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Changes

Any information that is collected is subject to the privacy policy in effect at the time such information is collected. We may, however, modify and revise our privacy policy from time-to-time. If we make any material changes to this policy, we will notify you of such changes by posting them on www.collaborne.com/privacy or by sending you an email or other notification, and we will indicate when such changes will become effective. By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, you are agreeing to be bound by the revised policy.
