Weekly updates (25 Apr '25)

All updates

We’ve packed this weekly roundup with powerful features to streamline how you import, export, and manage your highlights. Let’s dive in.

Users can now import highlights from RSS feeds 🎉

You asked for more ways to get fresh content into NEXT—and now you can pull in any RSS‑powered source directly into your highlights library. Whether it’s news outlets, industry blogs, or niche podcasts, simply paste the feed URL and let NEXT fetch and parse your incoming articles. From there, you can use AI Jobs to automatically tag and cluster these new highlights alongside your existing data, keeping all insights in one place without manual copy‑paste.

Subscriptions can now be bulk‑imported from the subscription lister 🎉

Gone are the days of opening each subscription detail one‑by‑one. Now, in the subscription lister you can select multiple feeds and kick off imports in a single action. We’ve also added visual indicators on each card so you can see at a glance which subscriptions are queued, in progress, or completed—making re‑imports of old data or onboarding new feeds as simple as a couple of clicks.

Teamspace highlights exportable as CSV 🎉

Need to do a mass update of tags or share your highlight data with stakeholders who prefer spreadsheets? Just download a CSV of your entire teamspace—complete with all metadata—and open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or your tool of choice. Once you’ve made your bulk edits (for example, reassigning dozens of tags in one go), upload the file back into NEXT to sync those changes instantly.

RSS subscriptions auto‑disable on feed failure 🎉

RSS can be tricky: feeds occasionally break or change formats without warning. To prevent silent failures, NEXT will now automatically disable any subscription that can’t be processed, flagging the reason right in the lister. When you’ve fixed the source or want to retry, simply click “Enable” on that subscription’s card to bring it back online.
