We're thrilled to share the latest enhancements we've rolled out this week. Our development team has been hard at work, and we've implemented several updates to make your experience even better. Here's a quick rundown of what's new:

Improved Recording Dates 🎉

We've made a significant change to how recording dates are handled. Now, NEXT uses the date when the recording was actually created, not when it was uploaded. This means that you get more meaningful insights by knowing exactly when a user expressed their opinion. For example, if a five-year-old user interview was uploaded yesterday, it will reflect the original date, providing better historical context without skewing current analysis. This update also applies to highlights, ensuring they show the accurate date of user comments.

Keep in mind:

• Browsers only allow access to the last modification date, not the file creation date. Usually, these dates are the same, but they might differ if the video was post-processed.

• We’ve ensured that newly uploaded files are still easily accessible by sorting the Recording Library by upload date.

Enhanced View Management 🎉

We’ve revamped the navigation to give more space to view names. With the increased use of views, we realized longer view names were getting cut off. Now, you can see the full names of your views, making it easier to navigate and manage them.

Additionally, users can now change the order of views. By default, new views will appear at the top until you choose to reorder them. This flexibility helps you organize your teamspace to fit your workflow better.

Retranscribe and Recreate AI Highlights 🎉

All users in enterprise workspaces now have the ability to retranscribe recordings and recreate AI highlights. This feature allows you to adjust transcription settings, such as the dictionary, or experiment with custom AI prompts for highlight creation. It's a powerful tool to ensure your transcriptions and highlights are as accurate and useful as possible.
